Allan & Jean Millar championed Whitecourt and inspired generations of citizens to view volunteerism not as a duty, but as a way of life. Their generousity touched many people and improved the quality of life in our community immeasurably.  It’s only fitting that Whitecourt’s new recreation centre be named after them.  As you walk through the doors of the Allan & Jean Millar Centre, may you be inspired by the Millar’s example to live healthy, active, and meaningful lives.
