Now Accepting Applications to the Ad Hoc Community Training Needs Analysis Committee

Are you interested in helping to identify community, business and industry training needs for Whitecourt?  If so, apply to share your knowledge and skills on the Ad Hoc Community Training Needs Analysis Committee. 

The Ad Hoc Committee was recently created by Whitecourt Town Council and will be responsible for making recommendations on a needs assessment that will support skills and training needs within the community.

Specifically, Whitecourt is advertising for public appointment:

  • A Member at Large from the forestry industry;
  • A Member at Large from the oil & gas industry;
  • Two Members of the Public.

There is no set term for the above appointments.  The Committee has been established to conduct an assessment and provide a report on its findings and recommendations to Council for consideration.

Applications outlining a brief history of any past community involvement and interests will be accepted until 12:00 noon, Monday, July 16, at:
