Learn why our native pollinators are so important, and what we can do to create pollinator-friendly backyards and public spaces.

Location: Whitecourt & District Public Library (5201 49 Street)

This workshop focuses on the life and needs of our native bees and bumblebees.  It includes a discussion and list of suitable plants and a short demo for building pollinator homes.

Presenter Claudia Bolli of Wild Green Garden Consulting is a passionate food gardener, nature nut, and permaculture consultant.  She designs edible landscapes and offers organic gardening workshops.  She also teaches classes fo rthe Organic Master Gardener program, and coordinates Little Green Thumbs, an indoor gardening program for school children in Edmonton.  For more information visit www.wildgreen.ca.
