The 2011 construction season will soon begin, and there are a number of road and special projects underway throughout Whitecourt.  Residents are asked to obey posted signs and construction speed limits in the following areas:

• 47 Street (extension and construction of new railway crossing)
• Whitecourt Twin Arenas & Curling Rink
• Community Resource Centre (remodel old pool building, project scheduled for completion June 2011)
• 41 Avenue - portion of 41 Avenue (Blue Ridge Road) will be closed from May 25 to June 25 east of the Whitecourt Transfer Station entrance
• Projects under the 2011 Street Improvement Program will be starting soon at various locations around town.  Further information will be provided when scheduling is complete.
