 The following services and programs are managed and/or facilitated by the Community Services Department:

• Operation of the Carlan Community Resource Centre as well as all recreation facilities, parks, playgrounds, trails and open spaces.  Including: the Allan & Jean Millar Centre, Scott Safety Centre, Graham Acres, Rotary Park, etc.
• Development and provision of a variety of recreational and leisure programs.
• Family and Community Support Services
• Crime Prevention Programming
• Early Childhood Development Programs
• Whitecourt Food Bank
• Seniors and Persons with Disabilities Transportation Program
• Facilities maintenance
