Seniors make a difference in our community every day, from supporting family members and friends to assisting charities through volunteerism. June 1-7 is Seniors’ Week in Alberta.   

The Town of Whitecourt has developed a grant program to enhance and encourage partnership with local non-profit organizations.

Whitecourt utility crews will be working to repair water main valves along 52 Avenue starting at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 31.  Crews anticipate the work will be complete by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31.  

In response to the Alberta Government’s relaunch strategy, the first stage of the Town of Whitecourt’s reopening plan will begin on June 1, 2020.  To ensure the municipality is keeping within the provincial relaunch framework, Whitecourt has  developed its own municipal strategy that mirrors the stages the Province has put in place.
