Press Release - Pembina Pipeline Corporation welcomed as a sponsor at the Allan & Jean Millar Centre
The Town of Whitecourt is pleased to announce Pembina Pipeline Corporation (Pembina), as the newest partner at the Allan & Jean Millar Centre. As part of the partnership agreement, Pembina will receive naming rights for the fitness centre, which will be called the Pembina Fitness Centre.
“Pembina has been a part of Whitecourt for over 50 years, and I thank them for their commitment to investing in healthy, livable communities,” said Whitecourt Mayor Maryann Chichak. “The newly named Pembina Fitness Centre is a significant component of the Allan & Jean Millar Centre and plays an important role in creating opportunities so that our residents can lead healthy and active lives.”
“At Pembina, we know firsthand that having a healthy body and mind are paramount in getting our job done safely and effectively,” added Aubrey Adams, Day Foreman at Pembina’s Whitecourt office. “We are excited to be partnering with the Allan & Jean Millar Centre because it is such an important gathering place for people in our community to develop healthy lifestyle habits.”
Sponsorships, donations and advertising revenues make it possible for Whitecourt to expand its programs, services and initiatives, while reducing the need for additional user fees or use of tax revenues. Sponsorships also provide a great opportunity to assist organizations in meeting corporate goals. There are a variety of facility and partnership opportunities available at the Allan & Jean Millar Centre, as well as with other Whitecourt facilities and special events. For more information on opportunities please contact Kelly Sadoway, Manager of Recreation, at 780-778-3637 ext. 407.
