2020 Seniors' Week
Seniors make a difference in our community every day, from supporting family members and friends to assisting charities through volunteerism. June 1-7 is Seniors’ Week in Alberta and Whitecourt Family & Community Support Services staff has planned activities to celebrate and say thank-you to local seniors. This year, Seniors’ Week activities have been modified and portions postponed to adhere to the provincial guidelines and public health orders in effect. Please share this information with seniors in your life so that they can participate.

Making Connections Newsletter
The Seniors Making Connections Newsletter is published four times a year, and highlights activities for seniors in the community.
Alberta Supports is a "central hub" for Albertans to find social supports and services. As the first point of contact, Alberta Support Services Coordinators can help Albertans find information and access to more than 32 social based programs and over 120 supports The supports range from

Spruceview Seniors Lodge
12 Sunset Boulevard
Operated and managed by the Lac Ste. Anne Foundation, Spruceview Seniors Lodge is a 50 room facility. The Lodge was expanded in 2007 with the addition o f 30 apartment-style suites with kitchenettes. Housekeeping and lunch is included in all rental rates. Tenants in the suites have the option of purchasing additional meal service. Home-care services are available for those who need assistance.

Operated and managed by the Lac Ste. Anne Foundation, Woodlands Villa offers sixteen self-contained apartments for seniors.
