Planned Giving Opportunities
The Planned Giving Program provides a unique opportunity for citizens and corporations to assist in enhancing Whitecourt's outdoor recreation facilities.
Citizens, families, corporations, and community groups have an opportunity to donate cash to purchase a variety of park and open space amenities. The Program can be used to commemorate the life of a loved one; salute good corporate citizenship; increase awareness of service group activities; demonstrate individual commitment to the community.
Examples include:
- park benches
- park equipment
- trail improvements
- event/activity sponsorship
- rest stop area/view point
The Town of Whitecourt will provide appropriate recognition, usually with a commemorative plaque placed on or near the donated item. Other recognition may be provided at the discretion of the Town.
