The Community Spectrum - Whitecourt's guide to recreation and leisure programming - is published quarterly by the Town's Community Services Department. The guide details program and service information available at a number of public facilities, including the:

  • Allan & Jean Millar Centre,
  • JDA Place (Twin Arenas),
  • Carlan Services Community Resource Centre, and
  • Whitecourt Public Library.

The brochure also highlights a variety of community services information and events sponsored not only by the Town of Whitecourt, but also by numerous community groups, sports clubs and private businesses.

The Community Spectrum is available for viewing online, and printed copies of the Community Spectrum are available at any of these locations:

  • Town Office
  • Allan & Jean Millar Centre
  • Forest Interpretive Centre

 

Spring Spectrum 2024 (March, April, May)

The Community Guide is one of the most widely read publications in Whitecourt. It is produced four times a year and provides advertising and promotional opportunities for not-for-profit organizations, clubs and businesses.  Advertisements must be recreation, art, culture or education oriented.  To find out more about this valuable local promotional tool email spectrum@whitecourt.ca
