2024 Dog Licences available December 1
Posted on:Renew in December to take advantage of discounted rates. The licence renewal fee will be automatically charged to a dog owner’s Town account on December 1. Information on how to pay for your dog’s licence online will be sent out in November to all licenced pet owners.
If you have a new dog or are purchasing a dog licence for the first time, you must come to the Town Office to register your dog and receive your pet’s dog tag.
BUY EARLY AND GET A DISCOUNT
December 1 - December 31
$22.50 or $11.25 for spayed/neutered dog
After December 31
$30.00 or $15.00 for spayed/neutered dog
RENEW LICENCES ANNUALLY
Dog licences must be renewed annually.
Licences are valid January 1 - December 31.
LIFETIME DOG TAGS
Tags may be purchased at the Town Office.
If the tag is lost, a replacement tag may be purchased at the Town Office for $2.00.

PostedHi there! We are moving from Calgary to Whitecourt and have our dog registered with the city of Calgary - can we keep the registration until it expires or do we have to register in town once we move? Thank you!

PostedHello Brooklyn, Welcome to Whitecourt! Registration for your dog will need to purchased here as licences are specific to each community. Dog licences can be purchased at the Whitecourt Town Office at 5004, 52 Ave.
