Posted on:Whitecourt Town Council encourages the citizens of Whitecourt to recognize May 22 – 28 as Community Disability Service Professionals Week. Support workers provide care for cognitively or developmentally challenged in our community with care, compassion and positivity. With the aid of Support Workers, our challenged community members are able to develop life skills and be accepted as a full and thriving part of our community.
During Community Disability Service Professionals Week, we encourage you to take the time to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of those workers who provide this vital service in Whitecourt and area.
