Economic Development Week: May 8-12, 2023
Posted on:Whitecourt Town Council encourages the citizens of Whitecourt to recognize May 8 – 12 as Economic Development Week. Economic Developers work throughout the province, region and community to promote the economic well-being and quality of life for their communities by creating, retaining, and expanding jobs that facilitate growth, enhance wealth, and provide a stable tax base. Locally, the Economic Development team works closely with new and existing businesses to support them in multiple ways along with promoting Whitecourt and area for business attraction. During this Economic Development Week, take time to appreciate the efforts made to expand career opportunities and improve quality of life in our region.
