Facility and Service changes during Easter holiday weekend
Posted on:The 2024 Easter holiday weekend is approaching and there will be changes in local operations and services.
Residential Curbside Recycling pick up will remain per the normal schedule; please have your items out for collection by 7:00am on Friday, March 29.
The following facilities will be CLOSED on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1:
- Town Office
- Whitecourt Transfer Station (open Saturday, March 30 and March 31)
- Whitecourt Landfill (open on Saturday, March 30)
Allan & Jean Millar Centre hours of operation are:
- Friday, March 29: 9:00am - 9:00pm (Aquatic Centre open 10:00am to 8:00pm)
- Saturday, March 30: 9:00am – 9:00pm (Aquatic Centre open 10:00am to 8:00pm)
- Sunday, March 31: 9:00am - 9:00pm (Aquatic Centre open 10:00am to 8:00pm)
- Monday, April 1: 5:30am – 10:00pm (Aquatic Centre open 6:00am to 9:30pm)
Whitecourt Transit hours are as follows:
- Friday, March 29: No service
- Saturday, March 30: 9:00am to 3:44pm
- Sunday, March 31: No service
- Monday, April 1: No service
Dial A Bus will not operate March 29 through April 1.
