Notice of Public Hearing - December 18, 2023
Posted on:Pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, the Town of Whitecourt is proposing to remove the reserve designation on Lot R, Plan 4273KS and Lot R, 4737KS per the map attached, for the purposes of consolidating these parcels with other Town owned lands.
A public information session will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the foyer of the Forest Interpretive Centre (3002 - 33 Street) on December 18, 2023 prior to the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing will begin immediately afterward at 4:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to allow presentations for, or against, the proposed removal of the reserve designation. Any individuals or organizations may make presentations, speak at the hearing, or submit written comment for consideration. Written comments will be considered if presented to the Town Office before 12:00 noon on December 18, 2023.
