Rural Health Week: May 29 to June 2, 2023
Posted on:Whitecourt Town Council encourages the citizens of Whitecourt to recognize May 29 – June 2, 2023 as Rural Health Week. Rural health providers are powerful assets in our communities, using their health care skills and practices to enhance the community’s quality of life on a more personal level, creating special relationships with their patients and community as family, friends, neighbours, volunteers, teachers, and mentors. Rural Health Week gives us all an opportunity to say thank you both to our health care providers; and to the many local volunteers, who go above and beyond to support health care and health care providers in the community.
