Snow Removal Update for December 10, 2024
Posted on:Thanks Whitecourt for moving your vehicles off the streets! Crews made great progress on snow removal in the east valley area today, and were also able to clear sections of Park Drive and Park Circle.
On Wednesday, December 11 crews will:
- Continue to clear roads in the east valley area (between 55 Avenue and Mink Creek Road). Residents are asked to move all vehicles from the road.
- Clear a section of the Park Drive North - signs have been posted, residents are asked to move vehicles off the road.
Depending on progress on December 11, crews may begin clearing streets in hilltop neighbourhoods (and then will return to the valley later in the week as Wednesdays as residential waste collection in the west valley area).
On Thursday, December 12, a portion of 51 Avenue will be cleared. Signs have been posted; tag and tow will be in effect.
