Whitecourt awards contract to Clark Builders
Posted on:Clark Builders has been awarded a Construction Management Services Contract for construction projects in downtown Whitecourt. The initial project includes the extension of 50 Street/Legion Street. This project will increase safety and access into Rotary Park, and assist with traffic control and reduce congestion. Completion of the road extension will also help to revitalize the downtown by providing direct access to Rotary Park through the downtown core.
A final decision on the Culture & Events Centre has not been made by Whitecourt Town Council; however, the agreement with Clark Builders states that should the Culture & Events Centre proceed, it will also be responsible for Construction Management Services for the facility.
