Whitecourt Wildfire Update - May 22, 2023

No wildfire advisories have been issued for the Town of Whitecourt.

Highway 43 north of Whitecourt reopened to traffic north and south bound. Speed limits have been reduced to 80 km/hour between Fox Creek and Valleyview. Wildfire and utility repair crews continue to be actively working along the highway. Motorists must reduce speed to 60 km/hour when passing crews or emergency vehicles.
